Summary:
The Certified Pharmacy Technician assists the Pharmacist in the provision of pharmaceutical services to inpatients, outpatients, and various hospital departmentsThis position is also involved in pharmacy data processing, inventory control, and other duties within the department
Responsibilities:
Assists in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacistHelps maintain proper storage, packaging, and quantities of inventory throughout the hospitalParticipates in the maintenance of proper computer medication profiles, daily reports, and billing of medicationsRefills Pyxis Med Stations accurately and timelyPrepares sterile products under the direct supervision of a pharmacistPerforms unit medication inspectionsMaintains pharmacy technician certificationsCertifications Needed&
